This is a blended Rosato; but not just a blend - a field blend-where everything was planted, grown, picked, processed and fermented together. A beautiful pink hue…this wine is 60% Merlot and 40% Teroldego (an expressive red grape originally from the Alto Adige), which adds a wild edge including dark bramble fruit and spice. In addition, there are red and black fruits, strawberries, plums, flowers, herbs and spices…cleansing acidity, great balance, beautiful texture and persistent length. 2024 is the third year we have created “The Blend” our new delicious pink wine and we are loving it! This is our blended, symphonic ROSATO celebrating several of the varieties and vineyards we use. Blended from many of the lots after the ferments were complete, this is a deceptively fleshy...inviting and comforting wine. Gluggable is a great descriptor for this Rosato! Full of strawberry, raspberry, black raspberry, red apple & pear skin, blackberry, floral & spice notes along with that delectable salty minerality…a beautiful pale ruby pink color, great balance, mouthwatering…irresistible character, made from 40% Franconia, 39% Merlot and 21% Refosco.
